America's Prize Winning Musical!
Music and Lyrics by Sherman Edwards
Book by Peter Stone
Staged July 11th and 12th, 2003, 1776 was the most ambitious project in the history of Brunswick ACT. Involving 27 performers, a 12 piece orchestra, elaborate costuming and makeup and a large, movable set, this production required a great deal of backstage support staff as well as the use of the Brunswick High School Performing Arts Center stage.
